BOOKKEEPER
Job Description
We re lookin for skilled Bookkeeper to prepare and maintain financial records for our clients. The position creates financial transactions and generates reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks Online from various source documents.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Gather documents from various clients
• Analyze source documents to record entries in journals
• Reconcile Financial Institution Accounts
• Prepare monthly General Ledgers and review for accuracy
• Generate monthly compiled financial statements
• Transmit monthly financial information to clients
• Maintain detailed records to support transactions
• Prepare tax forms as needed (sales tax, personal property tax, payroll tax, extensions, etc.)
Requirements
• Previous bookkeeping experience (5 years or more)
• High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Quickbooks Online, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Passing Background & Credit History Checks
